Process Reviews can be completed for all business processes whatever the environment

It’s difficult to see the inefficiencies in your processes, that you have lived with for the past months or years. Furthermore, most critical processes will have already been the subject of several improvement projects, which makes it difficult to see the potential for further improvements, that is, if you look at them the same way you did before!

What are Process Reviews?

  • Critical reviews of the ‘as-is’ business processes, identifying specific & systemic causes of inadequate performance
  • Actions are agreed to repair or upgrade
  • We tailor each Process Review to suit the specific issues facing your business
  • Process Reviews are typically completed with you, or your team
  • They typically take a day to two weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the process, or processes being analysed
  • Process reviews can be completed on internal, or external processes (see Supplier Development Visits)

Why we get results

  • We view your processes from a fresh, unbiased, perspective
  • We have substantial experience conducting critical Process Reviews in all environments (transactional, process and discrete manufacturing)
  • We use a wide variety of tools and techniques to gain deep understanding of what works within your business, as well as its flaws and inefficiencies.  However, the primary focus is understanding what happens, what doesn’t happen and the logic behind the process
  • The processes are ‘critiqued’ using a combination of logic, comparison and experience
  • Actions are agreed to repair or upgrade
  • Your people are a key part of the Process Review. We engage with them as much as possible to ensure ownership of the review and results.  This ensures that your people not only believe in the results, but are also committed to any resulting change programmes

Staff Development

We become ‘blind’ to the issues that we live with every day…

  • We believe in passing on our skills and knowledge to you and your team, providing opportunities for personal growth
  • Development of staff to be capable of performing Process Reviews is often included in key Process Reviews. However, the degree of focus can be varied to suit your requirements
  • We also offer formal training, skills assessments and coaching where required.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements

Training

  • We offer bespoke training courses and coaching in Process Reviews, and ‘off-the-shelf’ courses in business analysis and Supplier Diagnostic Visits, which include process review methods
  • Courses are tailored to suit: business needs and expectations, business process maturity, needs of the audience, support structure, etc
  • Please contact us to discuss your requirements
